Several common applications of metal rubber sealing rings
A rubber sealing ring is an annular cover composed of one or several parts, which is fixed on one of the rings or washers of the bearing and contacts or forms a narrow labyrinth gap with another ring or washer, preventing lubricant leakage and foreign object intrusion. A metal rubber sealing ring is made of metal rubber, a homogeneous elastic porous material that not only possesses the elasticity of rubber but also exhibits excellent metallic properties, allowing it to operate at temperatures ranging from -150 to 800℃. Additionally, it can withstand pressure, serving a dual purpose of pressure resistance and sealing within a certain range. Its main applications include the following:
1. Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) pipeline; GFRP sand-filled pipeline; GFRP jacking pipe; Cable protection pipe; Flue gas desulfurization pipe; Coal mine gas drainage pipe; Power plant desulfurization and dust removal pipe;
2. Sealing of municipal water supply and drainage pipelines;
3. Sealing of various process pipelines (petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, paper-making, sewage, seawater desalination, food brewing and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, etc.);
4. Sealing of sewage collection and conveyance pipelines, as well as reclaimed water pipelines;
5. Sealing of drinking water transmission main pipes and distribution pipes;
6. Sealing of oilfield water injection pipes;
7. Sealing of hot water supply pipelines and hot spring water supply pipes.
